Now hosting eCommerce sites
As part of ASI Computer Systems ongoing pursuit to provide the best options for our customers, remote hosting of eCommerce web stores is being offered. This exciting development will allow many distributors who did not want the responsibility of hosting their own web server, but still wanted the flexibility of offering web stores to their clients, the ability to offer web stores without the headache of physically maintaining the server.
The ProfitMaker package, along with the Expanded Inventory and Fulfillment module, now has the ability to have eCommerce web stores hosted remotely in conjunction with the eCommerce Gold package. The hosting will take place at the ASI Computer Systems offices in Cedar Falls, IA. While the web store resides on the remotely hosted server, a real-time internet connection reads data from the distributor's machine to provide real-time updating of information. Orders come automatically into the ProfitMaker system from the remotely hosted server.
