Going Out, Without the Bang

It's almost that time again! The hands of time have rotated around and another year has raced by. Before 2010 passes into history, here are some things you can do to make your year end processing go smoothly.

Every business has two types of business years: calendar and fiscal. Your ASICS software has two distinct closings:

Calendar year does not affect the General Ledger and should ALWAYS be done at the end of December.
Fiscal year is for your General Ledger and may or may not be the end of December.
