The right mix of technology and services can help you address a wide range of cost-cutting concerns, making 2010 an ideal time to get your software up-to-date. Starting in 2009, ASI Computer Systems made its updates, upgrades, patches (service packs), and hotfixes all available online for download. For many years, improvements to your software were only delivered via the postal mail system. Users and customers could only receive their competitive advantage on floppies and later CDs. It was also necessary to save and track those physical disks so you could update not only your main database machine, but every user's machine too.
