Starting with version 9.1 of ProfitMaker, you can setup alerts for key events to put important information in the hands of the people who need to make decisions when they need it. This feature allows a company to setup alerts for critical events/information such as bank balances, low inventory levels or following up on orders and quotes. Alerts can be sent via email or fax. If your PDA or phone is setup to receive emails, you can receive alerts there also.
Another way to think about alerts is they are like watchdogs that bark when you tell them too! ProfitMaker uses the alerts to monitor your business and send you an email when certain events occur.

Alerts are located in the ASI Fax/Email/Alert Server (formerly ASI Fax/Email Server). You can get to it from the Graphics Menu at System | Interface Servers| ASI Fax/Email/Alert Server.
