Are you looking for ways to get payments quicker? Would it help if your customers could pay you online? The Web Payment option allows you to have the customer
enter their credit card information by visiting a link that is contained in the emailed copy of the customer's invoice.
The option to use Web Payment is available for purchase for any ProfitMaker customer using PayPal or Access Group as your credit card provider and
utilizing the email invoice options within ProfitMaker. When the end customer receives an invoice via email, there will be a link at the bottom of the
email to the Web Payment feature.
When they have clicked on this link, it will take them to a secure site where they can enter their credit card information and their card will be
charged through your credit card provider at that time. Your credit card processor will then post the funds to your bank.
In Cash Receipts, the "Web pymt" button would then be available for you to pull these payments into your cash receipt run. ProfitMaker will post
these to the correct customer number and invoice number without having to manually enter them and they will be included in the posting to your cash account.
As well as decreasing the time it takes to receive payments from your customer, automatically pulling in this information into ProfitMaker reduces the chance of any
errors in posting. The Web Payment option also provides an added benefit to your customer because they can enter their credit card information
directly on the website without having to provide that information over the phone.
