Fast and Easy Credit Card Tracking

According to a 2008 National Small Business Association survey, 44 percent of small business owners reported using credit cards as a source of financing in the previous 12 months.

That's a jump of 28% since 1993 when only 16 percent of small business owners used credit cards as a source of funding in the previous 12 months.

With credit cards becoming more widely used by small business owners, your business software needs to be able to handle credit card transactions quickly and efficiently.

ASI Computer Systems' ASI SmartBooks does just that. Easily record the payment of vendor bills using credit cards by simply setting up a ledger account for each credit card. Then select that credit card ledger, rather than the bank ledger, when you record the payment to the vendor.

Pay the credit card company by entering a bill for the amount you wish to pay. Apply the bill to the credit card's specific ledger account. Write the check to the credit card company using the bank ledger account as you normally would.

Reconciling the credit card statement is simple using ASI SmartBooks' banking reconcile function. Reconcile just as you would your bank statement.
