Do I print checks to pay my bills?
Yes. ProfitMaker® has a full and complete Accounting Module that handles all of your AR and AP functions, including check-writing and bank reconciliation.

Does it support email functions?
You can currently email Invoices to your customers directly from the ProfitMaker® system through your existing email service. Any other reports or files that are created with the system can be emailed as well.

Does it work with ESP?
Yes! You can start your research of a product in ESP and have the product information (item number, description, quantity, price, cost, special instructions) transfer into your ProfitMaker Order Entry module. Also, the Specials that are offered by the Vendors will update from your regularly updated ESP CD into the ProfitMaker® system.

Will I still use the accounting program I currently use?
While you can choose to do that, it is completely not necessary. ProfitMaker® has its own completely integrated accounting system built in.

How do I learn how to use it?
ASI Computer Systems has a number of training options available to you. You can visit our corporate offices for a full and complete training or we can come to your office. We also offer a number of different tutorial training CD's for your continued review or to help new employees to your business.

Can the system track supplier rebates?
Yes. As part of the vendor record the rebate policies of that vendor can be set. As you do business with that vendor, your activity will be logged and your rebate amounts will be calculated.

What about payroll?
CheckMark Payroll software is available to fully integrate with the ProfitMaker® system. If you use an outside payroll service (or source), a simple journal entry is all that is needed to update your P&L as to your payroll activity.

What about sales taxes?
Multiple tax codes can be tracked by customer record, and if needed, by ship-to record within the customer account. A monthly summary of sales tax activity report can be printed at any time.

Does the ASICS System calculate commissions and on what basis?
Yes:
Booked, Billed, or Paid
Percentage of Gross Profit or Sales
Include Overruns: Yes or No
Also: Sliding Scale Options

Does the ASICS system handle overruns and/or backorders?
Yes, at billing time overruns can easily be accommodated for or backorders may be automatically generated. In either case the commission adjustments are automatically handled.

Does the ASICS system include faxing capabilities?
The ASICS system provides for faxing of quotes, order acknowledgements, invoices, and statements which are selective by customer, Purchase orders can also be faxed which is also selective by vendor.

Does the ASICS system include accounting modules?
Yes, the system comes with fully integrated ASI developed accounting modules to include Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger.

Does the software automatically create Purchase Orders to the vendor(s) during the Order Entry process?
Yes! ASI Computer System streamlines the whole Order Entry/Purchasing process. With one, simple entry of the Order, you will have all the related paperwork and correspondence created (Order Acknowledgement, Office Copy, Purchase Order to Vendor, Salesperson Copy). If you are working with multiple vendors on an order, you only need to enter the order once and the system will automatically create individual Purchase Orders!

ProfitMaker with Expanded Inventory & Fulfillment module
Does it handle catalog programs?
Yes. The Expanded Inventory and Fulfillment module was created specifically to catalog/fulfillment/co-op programs.

My client owns inventory that I store and sell - how would that work?
One of the unique features of the system is that it can easily administer Customer Owned as well as Distributor Owned inventory. The accounting is designed for this unique setup.

We inventory blank goods. Can your inventory handle that?
Yes. Blank goods (usually associated with wearable programs) can be stocked and when an order comes in for a quantity to have value added (screen printed or embroidered), the system will handle the associated pick-tickets and additional work/purchase orders (if needed).

Do you interface with our UPS computer in the shipping dept?
Yes. The shipping information from the order interfaces with your shipping manifest system. After the package ships, the package detail information come back to your ProfitMaker system to populate the appropriate fields during Billing.
